Carson's Blessing

For spring break this year we decided to head out to Utah and bless Carson while we were there. We were able to bless Carson in my parents ward in Kaysville on Sunday, March 14th. Chad gave a beautiful blessing and Carson was so good during the blessing. Carson even talked during the blessing too. It was too cute! I felt so grateful that I am married to a worthy priesthood holder than can bless our baby! It was interesting to sit there in my old home ward since 2 years ago I was sitting in that same ward wondering when and if I would ever get married and now here I was blessing my own child. It made me stop and realize how truly blessed I am and how you just never know where life is going to take you. I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband and a happy baby boy that brings me so much joy. My sweet Mom put together a big spread for everyone to enjoy following the blessing at their house. My Mom always goes way above and beyond when it comes to doing anything for her kids. She is amazing and I am so grateful that I got to spend a couple weeks with her. Thanks Mom! And thanks to all the family and friends that came to support us! We love you all!

Carson thought eating his fist was more fun than having his picture taken.
I couldn't get a decent picture of him for the life of me. So this is the best one out of what I had to choose from.

Milestones

I think this little man is on his way to being able to roll over. This is his new favorite position. He cranks his head as far back as it will go and kicks his legs up while he arches his back. I'm pretty soon it's going to surprise him when he ends up on his belly all of the sudden. Just seeing him get to this stage got me all excited. I'm sure when he rolls over it'll be even more exciting. I am grateful that I get to be a stay at home mom to be there for the little moments like this where I get to witness him reach milestones in his development.

I love the little sly smile he has on his face in this picture while hugging his dog. My talented friend Cambria made this little dog. Isn't it the cutest thing?!

Carson is such a happy little boy. Every morning I am greeted with a big gummy grin. He is just full of energy in the morning and will laugh and play non-stop for about an hour like this:
And will go from this
To this in about a minute.
Completely zonked out.
