Good Friends

This past weekend we were able to see some of our good friends from Nebraska. We met up at Bountiful Park and had a little picnic dinner while the kids played on the playground. The Gregory's used to live in the same building as us and we hung out with them all the time. They were always coming up with something fun to do or finding an excuse to throw a good party.-Which made our last year so much fun! So it was really fun to get together and catch up. We sure have missed seeing these guys!

Back in June we also had our friends, the Ellis's, come for a visit. They also lived in our building just down the hall from us in Nebraska. Torrie and I were running buddies and I loved it! I really miss that! She also is a huge bargain shopper and was always keeping me up to date with the latest and greatest deal. Their little girl Riley is just a month older than Carson and so they were boyfriend/girlfriend. Carson was so happy to see his friends again and get to play with them! We loved getting together with them and miss them a ton! Hopefully they will come visit again soon!

4th of July

This 4th of July was a great one for us this year. We partied hard all day long! We started the day off at my brother's house for a big breakfast before heading off to the Kaysville parade. I haven't been to the Kaysville parade in years and so it was fun to go, but I couldn't believe how many people that were there.-It was crazy! Carson loved watching the parade and was content to sit on Chad's shoulder to see all of it. Later that day we had a BBQ at my parents house with my whole family. The kids played water baseball with the dads and had a blast. I'm pretty sure the dads had just as much fun as the kids did. That night we went back to my brother's house and set off some fireworks and watched some fireworks in Farmington. It was such a great day to be able to celebrate our freedom and be with family!
