Utah Trip: Part 2

This kid LOVES his bath! He just kicks and plays and is happy as a clown in the tub.

My family got passes to Cherry Hill and so we spent the day there all playing together. It was a blast! I hadn't been there since back in the day when I was in 12 and me and all my friends would get passes every year. We would go on Cardiac Canyon over and over again. So this time I talked my niece into going on it with me and we had a great little time. It was so fun being there will all my family. My Mom was so great and packed in some yummy hoagies for dinner and we had ourselves a nice little picnic. I just love my family and loved being able to spend so much time with them!

Allie bug and Carson are only 10 days apart in age, but I swear he looks huge compared to her! She is such a doll!

Cooper was a crack up at the pool! He'd stand by the fence to the pool and plug his nose and close his eyes way away from the pool and then walk to the pool and jump in. So funny!

Carson was beat after a day of swimming. He crashed about a minute into our car ride home.

While I was in Utah I took the opportunity to go to the temple. I figured I should take advantage of being only 15 minutes away from the temple since I don't get that chance very often. Although I wished I could've been there with Chad I still loved being at the temple.

Utah Trip: Part One

I just recently returned for a nice long trip to Utah. Carson and I spent about 2 1/2 weeks hanging out with family and friends. I loved it and I know Carson loved all the extra attention he got. (Especially from his Magah and Papa) Here are a few things we did while we were there

On August 5th Chad and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. He celebrated in Nebraska while I celebrated in Utah. haha Anyway, Chad went all out and sent me these 2 beauties...which I LOVE!

Carson was in heaven with all of Magah's fun toys. He especially loved this train. He'd constantly push the button that turns on the music over and over again.

Carson decided that his uncle Travis was his new buddy and sat here just lounging with him for like 10 minutes. He NEVER sits still for that long.

And I just LOVE this picture! I love his cute smile! Such a handsome little dude!

I got to see my cute nieces and nephews on the Mitchell side. I love all these kiddos! They are such a fun bunch! All of them were always trying to entertain Carson with different toys or what not and Carson thought it was great fun.

My little boy is getting big! He fits into 12 mo. Jammies now even though he is only 9 mo.! Of course he still has to wear a bib thanks to the constant drooling...although still no teeth.

We got to spend the afternoon with my cute Grandma Petterborg going to lunch and shopping for Carson. I loved being able to spend some time with her and chat. Thanks Grandma!

We Miss You Daddy!

Carson and I have been on vacation in Utah for the past couple of weeks now. Chad has been back home working two jobs and doing school. Although we've been having a great time seeing family and friends and relaxing we miss Chad. The other night we talked to Chad on Skype and Carson went nuts. He couldn't stop smiling, giggling, and laughing at Chad. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen! He sure loves his Dad! Here's a couple pictures of us talking to Chad on Skype.

On the move

Carson is getting more mobile these days and between his army crawl and rolling he can pretty much get anywhere he wants to be. Lately this includes rolling underneath the couch. I've got him more than once like this.
