Ever since Chad's second year of law school began he has been trying to get an internship for the summer. He interviewed at multiple places and applied for what seemed like every possible job out there. Every night we would pray that he would be able to find work for the summer. With the economy being so crappy right now we weren't sure what would happen and that stressed me out big time. While I was out in Utah Chad called and told me that he got an interview with a paten firm in Omaha. As he told me this I had a peaceful feeling wash over me. The interview wasn't for another two weeks. Finally the day of the interview arrived and Chad drove up to Omaha for it. He called me on the way home to tell me about the interview and he thought it had gone pretty well overall. The told him they make a decision and let him know in a couple of weeks. More waiting! It just about killed me to wait and wonder. I had felt so good when he told me about it, but I was still a little bit nervous. Finally last Friday Chad was notified that he got the job! To say I was excited would be a major understatement. I screamed when I read the email because I was so happy. I also felt a huge amount of gratitude. I knew that all of our prayers and fasting and those who prayed and fasted for us had contributed to Chad getting the job. I feel so incredibly blessed that things worked out for the best which will allow us to stay here in Lincoln and for Chad to be able to take his MBA classes as well. So congrats Chadley on getting the job! I know the firm will be so lucky to have such a smart and hard working guy on their team. Love you!

Chad playing with Carson during dinner.
Carson loves to be apart of whatever we are doing. He is at such a fun stage and developing the cutest little personality. He continues to be such a happy baby. We set him in his bumbo on the table while we ate dinner and he thought it was pretty darn cool.
Just hanging out before we went to play group.
And last, but not least, Carson balancing on the exercise ball! Leave it to Chad to try something like this. Two days later the ball died while Chad was sitting on it. Too funny!
