We recently went on a little date night with our friends. We started the night by eating at a yummy Mexican restauraunt. The place we ate at is the closest thing we can find to Cafe Rio. I'll take what I can get out here! Afterwards we headed over to Haymarket Park to watch the Saltdogs baseball game. It was the perfect day to be outside in the sunshine and watch the game. It wasn't humid or windy either...very rare for Nebraska! The game was even accompanied by an organ playing in between. Hilarious! My favorite part was the giant snow cone that Chad and I shared. Even though we made a mess trying to share it I still LOVED it!
Our lawn seating was the best! Got to love the green blanket that is older than we are. Mom you might recognize it. haha

I thought the huge baseballs were cool and Chad loved the bright green truck so a picture was a must.
Oops! Looks like Chad's got his eyes closed in this one.
These two were twinners in their little plaid shorts.

Sounds like you had a good time with good weather too. And the green blanket, oh yes, it does look familiar. Saltdogs baseball team, is that their real name?? You both look way cute in the pictures.

I think baseball games are about as summer as it gets! Looks like a lot of fun! And, I must admit, those giant baseballs are pretty darn cool.

Fun, fun! There is nothing better than going to see a baseball game. I totally get why it's America's favorite pastime. Even if you don't like the sport there's just something about being at a stadium.
