Official Nebraskans

This is going to be a long one since I have been a slacker blogger already!  Here are a few of the promised pictures of where we live.  Since we haven't finished completely decorating there are just pictures of the bathroom because that is the one finished decorated place in our little apartment.  More to come soon!

This is the outside of our apartment building.

The view from our apartments.  Out in the country!

On Saturday Chad needed to go to school and study for most of the day (such a dedicated little student!) so I decided I would venture out and go see a few things.  I went to these beautiful gardens that they have right along one of the main streets here.  So gorgeous!  Of course since it was a game day almost everyone, but me, was wearing red of course!
Here is the Capitol just a few blocks from where I work at the University.

In other news, Chad and I are feeling like official Nebraskans with our new drivers licenses and license plates.  So here is my confession.... this is the first time I have got a new license since I turned 16!  Believe it or not I was still the proud owner of one of the old plastic Utah licenses and it was completely falling apart.  The lady at the driver's license division looked at it with such disgust and so did Chad. :)  I don't blame her because it was in pretty bad shape, but I guess in some stupid way was a funny memory to have.  Unfortunately they take it away from you when you get a new one.  So no more ghetto license that is falling apart for me.

Next time you are out here we will probably be in a house of our own...and will need a decorator. ;) Such a cute bathroom! I can't wait to see the rest of the place.

I'm also glad you've changed your ways and now sleep in your bed. I'm sure Chad appreciates it as well.
